Hello, my name is Sarah and I get the worst mom of the year award!

Yep, that's me!! I guess we were just so super excited about one of the warmest days of the year that we forgot sunscreen.... Ouch! I totally didn't even think about it, didn't even cross my mind! Sorry babies! Braylee had a sunburn line from her headband and Brody's cute little ears looked like they were on fire!

We had such a wonderful Easter this year...I tell you what.... Holidays are such much better with kiddos... Brody was stoked to find those eggs.... We went to the mall to see the Easter Bunny and he just had to take some candy to give to that Bunny. He was convinced that we give the Easter Bunny candy so that the Easter Bunny can hide it, and then we can go find it! It was fun to share the real meaning of this Holiday with Brody as well.


Derek has been working quite a bit this time of year, so we ended up coloring the eggs without him, but he was secretly thrilled, I think, to not see the mess we made!

Easter morning was h-i-l-ar-ious..... Brody just was so excited to find those eggs!



We have been trying to take some long walks to encourage this spring weather and help that winter weight drift away ;)

and I cant believe I'm saying this but Braylee girl is 6 months old today! Time flies when you are having fun!!

Since you have been brought into our home you have shown us the ultimate prototype of perfection! You are the sweetest little girl alive! You are now six months old and loving life....not an hour goes by that you are not smiling ear to ear at someone.....


You aren't quite sleeping through the night, you cant seem to give up that midnight snack or two.... These fluffy little legs prove it.....


You have the LONGEST dark eyelashes and not a day goes by that someone isn't mentioning your eyes! You have lots of dark hair that tempts me everyday to give it a little trim... but your daddy says NO!
You love your feet and love to chew on them....wait.... you LOVE to chew on anything...Whatever is placed in your hands, goes straight to your mouth!


You are the cutest rolliest polliest girl I know!

You are eating rice cereal once a day now and your brother LOVES to feed you!


Other than being the happiest baby alive, you love toys, Brody, chewing on stuff, and Mommy and Daddy. Braylee, you are such a blessing in our lives. We don't know what we would do without you. I am so excited to be your mommy and see who you become...!
