A Change of Pace...

Brody and I have gotten the opportunity to spend a lot of time together lately, without Derek I mean, and I have loved it. We miss him very much while he is traveling for work, but I love the time we have together as mommy and boy.

The other day we decorated our Easter tree. I promise, it's cuter in person!

Last week Derek was gone to Illinois all week and Brody and I went and supported the local high school basketball team. Go Bruins! Brody loves to go and just stares at the mascots the whole game ;] This is a few of us there....

21 months old :]

I am so super excited about not traveling this summer. This is the first spring and summer that I do not have to prepare to leave and leave for the summer. Don't get me wrong, I am so grateful for all the traveling that Derek and I have done, but I am ready to stay home, plant a garden, take swimming lessons with Brody and go camping :0)

And one last thing...my couponing adventures....all this for just under $13 ... not super good but good enough for me :)

blogg.....

I feel like I don't have anything to blog about lately...I love looking at everyone else's blog, and hope that my is as entertaining, but it's not. How can it be when you don't blog!!! HA!! o-well

Our camera broke, so I hope to get a new one soon!

But I do have things to blog about, just no pictures :] BrODY!! This little guy is so great...so funny.. It seems we are always laughing at him. He is talking so much lately and I hate that I have not documented them ....but what can you do... I have them in memory...

He says the funniest stuff....The other day we got home from the store and I went to get him out of the car, and right in the middle of the road was a pile of dog poop. I proceeded to get him out and tell him that it was poop and that it was yuck and to stay away...He is a boy... he sat there and stared at it while I hauled in about three loads of stuff, and after I was done I said "come on Brody, lets go in, it's cold!!!" He said no, poop mommy poop. I told him that I knew that it was poop and to come on... He said "Ok Mommy" started waving his hand bye and said "bye POop!"

Ha I love it....!He has also been a fan of taking his Dad to time out. He will swat him on the bum and say "time out daddy, time out" Then he will grab Derek's hand and lead him to time out (our bedroom) and shut the door. I will tell him that Daddy is sad so he will go get him out and give him a KiSs *Priceless*....

He is getting so big, I can't believe he will be two in a few months!
