Mother's Day and Mommy's Birthday

I had the best birthday and Mother's Day weekend with my little family...Derek spoiled me and they made me feel so special...Best of all, I spent it with these two.....

They even made me a green drink....loaded with carrots.... :/

I am so lucky to be a mommy to two healthy beautiful babies!

Summer Fun with my best friend......

Braylee and Brody have become so close over the summer and I just love it. Braylee copies everything Brod says and does and wants to be just like him. One day I asked her to go pick a shirt out of the closet and she came back with one of Brody's from his closet. I couldnt resist. She looked so cute in his attire :)

 Brody loves to snap pictures of her too. He makes her lay down, jump up, or whatever he wants on command so he can snap a good shot.....

My two little Beauties July 2012

Braylee has had this weird facination with bottles and binkies lately and is always carrying one or the other around....Considering she is now 21 months and NEVER taken a bottle and hasnt had a binky since she was 6 months, I find her a little silly :)

Being silly......

Little Bray girl is turning in too such a sweet little miss. I just love her fiesty personality and her girly ways. I love how she hates things on her hands... I love how she loves her nails done, loves her bows and hair done, and loves "pretties." She is the apple of my eye and everything I have dreamed of having in a little girl......

And I think she has her daddy's heart too when she hands him a bottle of polish and the next thing I see is this.....

One of Brody and Braylee's favorite things to do in the summer is running through the sprinkler, swimming in the pool and putting the sprinkler under the tramp.....

Sometimes Bray would rather be on the porch where she is safe from torture from her brother :)

And they love being goofy together at breakfast :)

Our Little T-Ball StAr!!

Brody played his first year of T-ball this summer. At four years old, he was pretty timid at first but turned in to a slugger at the end! I was so proud of him but don't know how I am gonna be able to keep my cool for the next 15 years at his sports events....HA.

Derek was able to coach his team this year and that made it so fun. He was so patient with the little ones and I think they all were better at the end of the season :) 

When Brody wasn't out in the field throwing his hat down and giggling with Tate, he was frantically doing the potty dance..... :)

During the games Braylee spent most of her time on the slides and swings, and of course yelling "Good Dob (job) Brody!!!!"

Brody's Birthday and LAGOON!

Brody boy is four years old! I cant believe how fast time goes, sometimes its even hard for me to accept that these years go by so fast... It just doesn't seem fair... At four years old, Brody is the sweetest kid I know! I just love him. This year I was birthday planned out. I didn't want to plan another birthday for him and we decided to spend the money on him instead of a party.... We celebrated his birthday on his birthday, Monday May 21st :) I took the day off school and loved on him EVERY moment I could... He was such a patient little boy... We had him wait till that evening when Derek got home to open his presents... boy was that a challenge! I don't think I have heard, "Mommy, When is daddy gonna be home?" so much! HA! Another funny thing about this boy is that he is still a gagger....lol... The other day Braylee apparently gave him a rather wet kiss and the next thing I see is Brody dry heaving and gagging :)

I asked Brody what kind of cake he wanted for his birthday and he told me CHEESECAKE! So cheesecake is what he got :)

Another funny:
Conversation between Grandpa Bunny and Brody as grandpa finished carrying the mattress up the stairs by himself:
Brody: bunny, did you carry that up the stairs?
Grandpa: yes, I did. Because I'm very very strong.
Brody: Ya, but your not as strong as my Dad. He is stronger and stronger. Really strong. ♥

And another:

After Brody heard a not nice word on TV he repeated it and I said, "Ya, we don't talk like that huh? We wanna talk nice so that Jesus is happy with us." Brody says, "ya. that's right mom. And we don't point guns at people and we don't bug our sisters." I'm glad that he is still so innocent.

For his birthday, we got him a new remote control car, a real BB gun, some other odds and ends, and tickets to LAGOON!

The next weekend we took Brody to Lagoon and he loved every minute of it! We got there when it opened and didn't leave instill about 5. Braylee was a trooper and rode the whole time too (with a short name in between :)

The bumper cars were by far his funnest ride, he loved them!


On the way home we decided to stop at the Hill Air Force Base while they were having an air show. I am so happy that we did! It was so amazing and both the kids loved it, including Derek :)

We love our little boy so much and are so thankful he came to us! He brings so much joy to our lives :)
